Zachary N. Renfro

I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science in 2000. I then worked in the legal field for a number of years before being accepted at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law). While in law school I was a member of Law Review. I also continued to work in the legal field and narrowed my focus on the practice of family law.

Shortly after graduating and passing the Bar in 2000, I opened an office in Decatur, focusing primarily on family law. I served with CASA of Wise and Jack Counties on their board for 16 years, holding several offices include that of President. In 2013 I received the Fairy Davenport Rutland Award for Distinguished Service to Children and Families. I have also served with the Decatur Junior Women’s Club. I am currently a member of the Wise County Bar Association and the Wise, Jack, and Montague County Women’s Bar Association.

I am married to Stephen Reeves, owner of Reeves Automotive, and we live in Decatur. We married in 2004 and have two daughters, Emma and Abigail. We are members of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur. As a family we enjoy camping, travel, and Texas country music.

  My 20 plus years of legal background currently includes: 

• Contested and uncontested divorce
• Complicated custody matters, including Child Protective Services (CPS) investigations
• Child support negotiations, modifications and enforcement
• Termination and Adoptions 

After 50 plus years of practicing Roger Williams has retired. We wish him many restful days ahead!  

 1973 Graduate of University of Texas with 45 years of Private practice law. Past elected District and County Attorney for Montague County.  

My substantial legal background currently  includes:

• Criminal defense in Montague, Clay, Cooke, Jack, and Wise Counties 
• State criminal charges, including sex crimes and violent crimes
• Drug crimes and DUI/DWI
• Juvenile Law
